    18.5 Information Sharing Protocols

    There is a statutory duty for professionals to share information where there are concerns about the safety or well-being of a child or vulnerable adult.

    Numerous pieces of legislation bestow a power or duty on local authorities to share information in specific circumstances. Please check existing local policies (including MASH information sharing agreement) within the following statutory frameworks as appropriate:
